So if you get a tune from me, you better be using normal gas. and the canned preset tunes on the tool are not made for e85, nor is my custom tuning. so no you shouldn't LOL e85 has a different stoich air fuel ratio than normal gas. Even though the mpg is less with E85 in my vehicle, the actual cost per mile at that lower mpg is less as well. I really figured this didn't take a course in statistical mathematics. using premium at 22 cents a mile (based on premium mpg and $3.80 a gallon) is a losing proposition. I am sure you just looked at things in haste and didn't actually reason it out properly.Ĭopperhead wrote:I am having a rough time figuring out how some can't see, since I stated the numbers, how using E85 at a cost of 18 cents a mile (based on E85 mpg at $2.45 a gallon) vs. Makes me wonder if I should trust you with a tune!! Just kidding. I am especially shocked you couldn't figure this out, Lew. I really expected this would not be such a problem for some to grasp. When you do statistical averages of cost per mile on commercial trucks it is not hard to jump over to something simple like a pickup. I guess it is just the business guy in me that finds this easy to calculate. DiabloSports inTune line has been known in the industry as a 'must-have' tuning system for both performance. The i3 takes the power, features, and applications that the i2 had and multiplies them, taking your performance tuning abilities to the next level. So, the savings to me by using E85 is 4.25 cents a mile. The brand new DiabloSport inTune i3 is a redesign and upgrade from the i2 model. $3.80 divided by 17 mpg is 22.35 cents a mile. $2.45 divided by 13.5 mpg is 18.15 cents a mile. Let's remember our grade school math, boys and girls.Į85. ![]() I am having a rough time figuring out how some can't see, since I stated the numbers, how using E85 at a cost of 18 cents a mile (based on E85 mpg at $2.45 a gallon) vs. Thus, you're paying the same if not more, because you have to fill up with e85 more often than if you just used good normal 91+ octane gas that gets you better mileage. but the savings negates itself, because you get worse mpg with e85 crap, so you have to fill up more often It's not that you're paying premium prices. ![]() So, how am I paying a premium by using E85 again? True, others will experience different numbers, and they will have to determine if it is worth it. E85 costs me a hair over 18 cents a mile, a net savings of 4 cents a mile. Premium therefor costs me are hair over 22 cents a mile. The vast majority of my operation is rural two lane type of highways and gravel roads with a little bit of in town thrown in. I get about 17 mpg on premium and around 13.5 on E85. Like a lot of folks, you are only focusing on the mpg number. ![]() Copperhead wrote:No, I am not paying a premium even if I am getting lower mpg.

You have to get a little creative in a small space to maximize it. However, they also take up much less space when popped down for storage and towing. Ultimately, pop up campers are more limited in storage than other types of RVs. ConclusionĪll of these ideas and accessories can help you better utilize the space you have inside your pop up camper. On different trips, we would alternate and drive a truck to haul the bikes in the truck bed and use the van to shuttle people around. This worked great and we could fit everything all inside one vehicle.ĭepending on how many people are camping, you can also drive another car to lighten the load. When towing our pop up camper with our van, we would load up the rear cargo area with the majority of our camping gear. With less space inside your trailer, you can utilize the space in the back of your tow vehicle. Maximize Space in Your Tow Vehicle or Take an Extra Car Although you have to buy doubles of what you use at home, it’s much easier to have ones that you only use in the pop-up. You can get smaller versions of these traditionally large appliances and use ones smaller when camping to save room. This can include your coffee maker, blender, microwave, crockpot, cooking supplies, or anything else you use to prepare food and drinks. ![]() These gripper clips can help to organize and keep your spices from moving around if you keep them inside your pop-up on the road. How to Increase Space in a Pop Up Camper However, there are a few nifty ways to increase space in a pop-up camper. And a slide-out spice rack fits perfectly in your RV for little cabinet space. Put your spices in small metal containers and they will stick on the magnetic sheet. This way, you won’t have to fit everything in the pop-up when you’re packing. Buy a metal sheet, add a frame and use liquid nails to hang it on the wall. ![]() It helps to tow your pop up with a vehicle that has plenty of additional cargo space such as a van, large SUV, or truck. Storage is a premium and it’s a good idea to utilize it well wherever you can. With limited room inside a pop-up camper, it’s important to maximize the space you have.
![]() : Don't Miss The Best New Strains Hitting The Market Alternatives If you’ve tried this out, please leave your personal reviews and pics below! I’m excited to try out some more of this strain made by different brands in the future. If you’re new to cannabis and seeking a more potent option, I suggest giving the Bubba Strain by Top Leaf a try. Somebody that’s not used to cannabis won’t get overwhelmed with the effects that this strain emits, while everyday stoners will truly appreciate the uniqueness of this weed. If this Tangerine Dream strain review piqued your curiosity, I’m glad because I believe it’s a unique cultivar with exceptional aromas and flavors that I would recommend to beginners and everyday smokers. I’ve also read many reviews where consumers have used this for insomnia, although, for that, I would need something way stronger. I also found that this strain emits anti-inflammatory and very calming effects. I was not glued to my couch, and I felt pretty productive overall. It is a cerebral high, but it’s not very intense, and it’s pretty short, as I felt normal after about 45 minutes. Personally, I haven’t smelled anything like it before, and most people I showed it to were surprised by the aroma.īefore I even finished my joint, there was a slight and immediate head rush, although not as intense as other strains I’ve tried where the THC percentage is 20+, I found that initially, it comes in pretty fast and strong. There is a herbal scent that comes out once the flower is bid up. The fragrance is pungent and citrusy you can really smell the tangerine and blood oranges. I believe that after trying this strain out a few times, you would actually be able to tell if it’s Tangerine Dream just by smelling it it’s unique. A better trimming job could be done overall, with the number of leaves and stems present. The colors on this strain are ridiculous there is a mix of dark green, light green, dark purple, and navy on the nugs and leaves, you mix in the bright orange pistils and the white trichomes, and you get yourself some really pretty looking weed. The buds were all very fresh and sticky there were about 6 nugs in total for 3.5 grams, they were also very dense, and each nug bid up to a very decent amount of weed. To start, I didn’t get any small nugs at all, which is always a plus in my book. Furthermore, these laws yield two possible solutions in the ambiguous case, illustrating that Side-Side-Angle is not a congruence criterion.Analytic geometry connects algebra and geometry, resulting in powerful methods of analysis and problem solving. ![]() Together, the Laws of Sines and Cosines embody the triangle congruence criteria for the cases where three pieces of information suffice to completely solve a triangle. The Pythagorean Theorem is generalized to non-right triangles by the Law of Cosines. The definitions of sine, cosine, and tangent for acute angles are founded on right triangles and similarity, and, with the Pythagorean Theorem, are fundamental in many real-world and theoretical situations. These transformations lead to the criterion for triangle similarity that two pairs of corresponding angles are congruent. Similarity transformations (rigid motions followed by dilations) define similarity in the same way that rigid motions define congruence, thereby formalizing the similarity ideas of "same shape" and "scale factor" developed in the middle grades. Once these triangle congruence criteria (ASA, SAS, and SSS) are established using rigid motions, they can be used to prove theorems about triangles, quadrilaterals, and other geometric figures. ![]() During the middle grades, through experiences drawing triangles from given conditions, students notice ways to specify enough measures in a triangle to ensure that all triangles drawn with those measures are congruent. For triangles, congruence means the equality of all corresponding pairs of sides and all corresponding pairs of angles. In the approach taken here, two geometric figures are defined to be congruent if there is a sequence of rigid motions that carries one onto the other. Reflections and rotations each explain a particular type of symmetry, and the symmetries of an object offer insight into its attributes-as when the reflective symmetry of an isosceles triangle assures that its base angles are congruent. Fundamental are the rigid motions: translations, rotations, reflections, and combinations of these, all of which are here assumed to preserve distance and angles (and therefore shapes generally). The concepts of congruence, similarity, and symmetry can be understood from the perspective of geometric transformation. Later in college some students develop Euclidean and other geometries carefully from a small set of axioms. (Spherical geometry, in contrast, has no parallel lines.)ĭuring high school, students begin to formalize their geometry experiences from elementary and middle school, using more precise definitions and developing careful proofs. Euclidean geometry is characterized most importantly by the Parallel Postulate, that through a point not on a given line there is exactly one parallel line. SRT.D .introduction IntroductionĪn understanding of the attributes and relationships of geometric objects can be applied in diverse contexts-interpreting a schematic drawing, estimating the amount of wood needed to frame a sloping roof, rendering computer graphics, or designing a sewing pattern for the most efficient use of material.Īlthough there are many types of geometry, school mathematics is devoted primarily to plane Euclidean geometry, studied both synthetically (without coordinates) and analytically (with coordinates). ![]() If you want to get in on the action, check out the South Carolina fishing page. A slice of Black Forest cake seemed almost compulsory in the circumstances. There is a newly constructed shop selling gifts, Christmas decorations and cuckoo clocks which has a nice reasonably priced cafe in its basement. The village itself consists of a handful of buildings. The journey to this place was indeed a scenic drive through the Black Forest and an enjoyable hour or so in its own right. Like many other visitors we found ourselves here as part of a Rhine river cruise. This place is worth a visit on your trip to Germany! Much history in this area and the scene reminded me of the a contemporary movie about Marie Antoinette starring Kirsten Dunst. Also, there is a neat painting on the hotel in the village of the scene where Marie Antoinette met the French entourage to change her clothing and staff to that of France and bid goodbye to her Austrian roots. The hike is a must do!Īllow time for a slice of cake and a visit to the glass blower shop as there are many beautiful pieces to admire. There are sturdy wooden bridges crossing the creek at times along the walk that provide nice views as you go deeper into the forest. The hike can be challenging at times due to the rocky path yet smooths out once you make it to the top of the waterfall. The sun shone brightly on the trees at the top of the mountain while it became dark and misty at ground level as the day advanced into late afternoon. The trees are quite tall and the mixture of pine with leaves changing into their fall colors was spectacular. The hike into the forest under the bridge was magical. The village had a beautiful view of the railroad stone bridge in the foreground of the mountains covered in trees. Hofgut Sternen is about midway through the Black Forest. After we left the city the drive became quite beautiful as we descended into the mountains. We could see the Black Forest Mountains to the east on the horizon during the trip and drove through a very nice city called Freiburg. The drive from our ship to Hofgut Sternen was quite nice. We both enjoyed a piece of Black Forest Cake before departing from the area for our ship. My wife watched a demonstration of baking a Black Forest cake and glass blowing while I went on a short hike of the Black Forest. There were a variety of activities to entertain us both at the village. My wife and I visited Hofgut Sternen on a bus tour of the Black Forest sponsored by the the Viking Cruise Line. Almost all of us on the tour wished it had only been one night. I dont know why Gate 1 Tours chooses to spend 2 nights here. If you are not part of a tour group I don’t know why you would stay here.
